A specific line of bone substitutes designed to promote tissue regeneration in bone and reconstructive surgery.
RE-BONE is the CE certified bone substitute of bovine origin for which we guarantee an entirely Italian production chain, coming from natural-fed Italian farms, with balanced ingredients.

RE-BONE is very similar to human bone tissue and is therefore able to create an environment favorable to chemotaxis, proliferation of ostoblasts and neoangiogenesis.

The market offers xenografts from different origins, but our cleaning process technology is unique, validated and certified.

Why to choose RE-BONE

  1. Fully Italian Production Chain with CE Marking. The production process of RE-BONE® has been developed in exclusive collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Padua, using bovine bone from Italian breedings, which are fed with natural and balanced food. We know in detail the processes of the entire production chain: from the quality of the land used for pasture to the finished product;
  2. Complete Remodeling. Taking into account the identical component of hydroxyapatite to human bone composition and organic matrix formed after a short time, the body recognizes RE-BONE® as a material that is not extraneous to it, and hence it can begin the formation of natural bone, its reabsorption and its remodeling. The osteoclasts re-absorb the granules and at the same time osteoblasts form the autologous bone. During this process, RE-BONE® is completely replaced by the bone, thus preventing foreign substances from affecting natural biomechanics;
  3. Cell Vitality. By comparing the cell vitality of osteoblasts in contact with RE-BONE® to other competitors of bovine derived materials commercially available, we can notice a greater cell survival which corresponds to 96% with RE-BONE®, instead of 90% of other sample of comparison;
  4. Osteoinductive capacity. RE-BONE® preserves most of the bone cell matrix proteins, which are important for the regeneration of the surrounding tissue. In vitro experiments with adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSCs) demonstrate that RE-BONE® can induce specific bone markers (osteopontin - osteocalcin - osteonectin - type I collagen), whose overall expression characterizes bone tissue already after 21 days;
  5. Microporosity of the mineral structure such as to shorten the reabsorption time of the bone substitute. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis were performed, and the generated images report micro-roughness, intergranular cracking, allowing vessels and cells to colonize the graft in depth thereby shortening the reabsorption time;
  6. NO-GEL syringe. The version in NO-GEL syringe, thanks to the type of unique curvature, facilitates the positioning of the bone substitute.

Biocompatibility

COMPUTERIZED MICROTOMOGRAPHY OF THE RE-BONE BLOCK GRAFT

It highlights its adequate micro and macro porosity to provide a high area of interaction between the graft and host cells and allow them to permeate the graft to create new vessels that help the migration of osteoprogenitor cells and the supply of nutrients.

COMPUTERIZED MICROTOMOGRAPHY OF THE BONE SUBSTITUTE IN RE-BONE GRANULES

The adequate spaces between the granules, i.e. the porosity, guarantee the resorption and remodeling of the biomaterial as well as its volumetric stability thanks to the Thermagen production process.

The micro-roughness and microcavities inside the granule allow the cells and vessels to colonize the graft in depth, shortening the resorption time of the bone substitute.

RE-BONE NO-GEL SYRINGE

RE-BONE NO-GEL syringe is available in three different combinations of dimensions and granulometry. The curved syringe is devoid of carrier gel and equipped with a patented cap for the rehydration phase.
